Soccer!

Here are some pictures from my soccer season. Here, I’m playing goalie for my team, the Hickory Grove Huskies. You can tell that I’m the goalie because of my orange jersey. That tells everyone nock to kick me if I’m picking up the ball. Goalies get to pick up the ball with their hands, but other players don’t.

Here, I’m stopping the ball so that it doesn’t go into the goal.

Here’s a shot of me playing something other than goalie. Running around with my friends and kicking the ball.

Three Stitches

I fell off my swing set and caught a stick near my eye on Sunday. Three stitches. Bummer. It hurt when they numbed the area, but the stitches themselves didn't hurt. Now I can show all my friends my stitches. Until later this week, anyway, when the doctor takes them out.

Left Seat in a DC-9!

We flew back from Chicago a couple of weeks ago after spending the week there with Mom (and, the last two days, with Dad, too). We had my little sister and a lot of bags, so we let everyone else off the airplane first to make it easier to get our bags and stuff off.
And guess what? When we got to the door, the first officer let me sit in the left seat! He showed me lots of stuff in the cockpit. There's a little more stuff in there than in the Cessnas that Dad flies, but the first officer said that the general idea is the same.
I told the first officer that my dad is a pilot. That made Dad so proud that he nearly burst right there. The first officer was very nice to my dad and Dad was very respectful of the first officer's experiences.
More soon! Dad says that I get to take his old camera to Oshkosh and I can post stuff to my blog at night. Too cool! Plus, we got a tent that's big enough that i can have my own room. It's going to be a blast. I can't wait for July!

Snow!

It snowed last night. It snowed a lot. I'm shoveling a lot of snow.

Here's my sister, Ella. That's me in the background.

Here's my house. Look at all the snow! The driveway is almost clean.
